Bihar: Father and son die in well
Munger, Jul 8: An elderly man and his son died of asphyxiation in a well at Bariyarpur area in Bihar's Munger district, a police officer said.
One Hemant Paswan (25) with the help of a long rope went inside a well to fetch a bucket which had fallen down earlier in the day, but he lost unconsciousness by inhaling poisonous gas emanating from the water body and died, Bariyarpur police station in-charge Abhinav Dube said.

With Paswan not reponding to call by the concerned family members, his father Bilakshan Paswan (58) went down the deep well, but he too died under similar circumstances, he said. Both bodies have been fished out and sent for post-mortem.
