Bihar: Boat Carrying 17 People Capsizes In Ganga, Several Feared Drowned

A tragic incident occurred on the Ganga River in Bihar, where a boat carrying 17 individuals capsized near Uma Nath Ganga Ghat at Gosaimath.

Local authorities, including Barh Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Shubham Kumar, have reported that 11 people have been rescued by locals, but six individuals are still missing.

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) is en route to assist with the ongoing rescue operations.
