Bihar: Amit Shah stuck in lift for about 30 mins, CRPF comes to his rescue
Patna, Aug 21: BJP President Amit Shah was reportedly stuck in a lift of a government guest house in Patna on Thursday, Aug 20.
The incident took place at around 11.15 pm. Shah was stuck in the lift for about 30 minutes alongwith other BJP leaders.

The incident happened when Shah was going from the ground floor of the state guest house to the first floor along with party in-charge for Bihar Bhupendra Yadav, Secretary Nagendra Ji and General Secretary Saudan Singh and a couple of security personnel.
The guest house, where Shah was stuck is located close to the Raj Bhavan in Patna. Shah's representative, who was outside, called the toll free number provided in the lift for help but no one responded.
CRPF personnel were then called who broke the lift and pulled Shah and others out. Shah was pulled out only after 20 minutes, some reports said.
Shah was in Bihar for a day to campaign for the party for the upcoming assembly elections.
The Nitish Kumar government however said that the incident took place due to overloading.
