7 killed as train rams into unmanned railway crossing in Nalanda
Nalanda, Feb 22: At least 7 people died and eight were left injured when a train rammed into an unmanned railway crossing in Nalanda district of Bihar on Saturday, Feb 21 evening.
According to TOI report, Bakhtiyarpur- Tilaiya DMU passenger train ran over a public passenger vehicle at an unmanned railway crossing near Daroga Bigha village under Deep Nagar police station area in Nalanda district around 6.30pm on Saturday.

The driver of the train escaped from the accident scene.
The deceased were said to be the natives of Khera Bigha village.
Among those who were identified were 20-year-old Khushi Kumar and brother of the groom Arun Choudhry. Others including a woman are yet to be identified.
The injured were admitted to Biharsharif sadar hospital.
