Young entrepreneur Rishi Vaidya bets big on tech to save the planet

After spending a decade and half learning the tricks of policy, investment banking and public relations, Rishi Vaidya a young entrepreneur from Mumbai took to green financing. Rishi's extensive experience and expertise in investment banking focused largely on debt restructuring had earned him a reputation amongst his peers. Coming from a public relations and policy background, Rishi has been known for being adaptable to new market conditions and regulatory changes. The focus on green financing using his network with international private equity firms, sovereign funds and government organizations is the latest feather in his cap.

Rishi is currently focused on creating an ecosystem for sustainable businesses, while helping organizations' transform to carbon neutrality. He firmly believes that businesses must align themselves with the social development goals of the United Nations to be successful in the long term. He is actively scouting for projects that deliver high on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance. Through his experience in fundraising and his passion for technology, Rishi is confident that he can achieve returns that go beyond traditional balance sheet calculations. "In terms of climate change, we are at the eleventh hour. Businesses as well as individuals will have to bring about change to help the planet. We believe change can be brought about by making carbon neutrality as a part of everyone's daily lives. Each one will have to play their role in this change." Rishi said.

Rishi's is working with financial institutions, blockchain companies and ESG experts to innovate a model for organizations to achieve carbon neutrality. Their focus is to make the process of carbon offset easier, faster and cheaper.
