The K brother's co-owner, Meet Kariya aces his directorial career

Meet Kariya was born and raised in South Africa. He eventually moved to India to complete his high school and further his degree at a reputed college in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He completed his majors in Marketing alongside Economics and Psychology minors. While he was pursuing his degree course, he actively participated in debates, events, videography, and Theatre among many other art forms. His aspirations were clear from the beginning as he always wanted to pursue his future career in filmmaking and directing. Meet believed in self-teaching through multiple YouTube videos to understand the basics of filmmaking.

While he was studying to be at the film school, he applied to many international film schools including Toronto Film School, New York Film Institute, Satyajeet Ray Film academy, and many other known places. He mentions, "I have always been proud of the fact that I applied in all the known film schools and I got selected for all of them. However, I chose to join the Toronto Film School as I received a scholarship to be a part of the school. But destiny had some other plans and my visa was denied due to Covid."

K brothers Music was an initiative by the K-brothers including Meet and his brother Jay Kariya. K brothers Music production completed many projects including the song Dhol Wagi Che which marked the career of Meet as a director. They together produced 7 songs as their initial projects. Soon they collaborated with Saga Music producing songs including the most talked-about film of Dhollywood called Saiyar Mori Re which marked the career of K-brothers as producers for the first time. Meet Kariya adds, "I still don't know how to write or read in Gujarati but I can speak and feel the essence of it. This was surely a challenge but no longer and now I do not wish to go back and study film making as through these years I have learned a lot through practical experiences."
