With appearances at major fashion events such as Los Angeles Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and Indie Fashion Week, as well as features in The Hunter Magazine, Malvie Magazine, and Runway TV, the brand has gained widespread recognition. A significant force behind its growing digital presence is cinematographer Dipen Patel, whose expertise in crafting visually compelling commercials has brought Monaco Colombia's designs to life in a remarkable way.

Patel's approach to cinematography is rooted in storytelling and technical precision. For Monaco Colombia's recent collection launch-which includes standout pieces like Vegan Leather
Distressed, Natural Perforated Barrel, and Boxy Collared Petal-he meticulously designed
lighting and camera techniques to highlight the uniqueness of each garment. Each commercial required a different mood, lighting setup, and visual composition to complement the distinct style of the collection. Patel skillfully adjusted camera placement and movement, using stabilizers like gimbals to create smooth tracking shots that captured both motion and detail.

The Art of Fashion Cinematography

His work involved both indoor and outdoor shoots, each presenting unique challenges. For
outdoor scenes, Patel utilized diffusers and bounce boards to control natural light, ensuring the perfect illumination for each frame. Indoors, he relied on two Nanlite sources of 500W and 160W, incorporating Nanlite's Bi-Color lighting technology. He revealed his secret to achieving the perfect look-tweaking the color temperature to create a warm and natural tone that complemented each outfit seamlessly. This thoughtful blend of lighting created a luminous, airy effect that accentuated the intricate details of each garment, elevating the brand's digital appeal.

Additionally, he made expert use of natural light streaming through high-ceilinged locations with tall sliding windows, adding depth and authenticity to the visuals.

Executing multiple commercial shoots in a single day required strategic planning and creative
problem-solving. Patel collaborated closely with designer Dingier Dani to develop a lookbook
that ensured each campaign stood out with a distinct visual identity. His keen eye for
cinematography allowed him to select the perfect lenses to bring out the textures, movement,
and essence of Monaco Colombia's designs, elevating the brand's commercial appeal to new
heights.

Patel's ability to adapt to diverse shooting conditions and his mastery of lighting techniques
have made him a sought-after cinematographer in the fashion industry. His expertise in using
