A Dream Vacation Turned Into a Medical Emergency for Siddharth Nath

What began as a relaxing holiday in Thailand with his parents quickly became one of the most challenging experiences of Indian travel influencer Siddharth’s life.

While staying at a beach resort, Siddharth decided to take part in surfing, one of the destination’s most popular water activities. During the session, a powerful wave caused him to lose control. The ocean current spun him around before his right hand forcefully collided with the sandy ocean floor, resulting in a severe fracture.

Recognizing the seriousness of the injury, the resort’s reception staff arranged immediate transportation to Bangkok International Hospital in Phuket Old Town. Medical specialists admitted him without delay and carried out emergency surgery.

Doctors repaired the damaged bone by implanting a metal plate supported with multiple surgical screws to stabilize the fracture. The operation was successful, and Siddharth is now recovering steadily.

Despite the painful experience, Siddharth remains optimistic and grateful for the prompt medical assistance he received. His story serves as an important reminder that adventure sports, while thrilling, should always be approached with caution and respect for nature’s unpredictable conditions.
