Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, November 2025: In a mission that bridges compassion, education, and national development, Amitabh Shah, Founder of Yuva Unstoppable & Viksit Bharat Ambassador , recently undertook a significant journey across Jammu & Kashmir, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to empowering children and communities in India’s border regions.

Describing the region as “truly heaven on earth,” Shah’s visit focused on accelerating the 'Kayakalp’ (complete transformation) of government schools, restoring livelihoods, providing nutritional support to vulnerable families, and rallying corporate partners to invest in J&K’s long-term social and educational growth.

During the visit, Shah met the inspiring Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, who appreciated Yuva Unstoppable’s work to improve education, health, and community resilience. Expressing his gratitude, Shah said:“It was an honor to meet the Hon’ble Lt. Governor and receive his guidance. His wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of J&K’s youth inspire us to redouble our efforts. His blessings strengthen our resolve to reach every child and community in this paradise.”

Creating Impact Where It Matters Most

Through dynamic public-private partnerships with leading corporate champions including HDFC Bank, PwC, EY, ARCIL, Amazon, and CDSL, Yuva Unstoppable has empowered over 70,000 children and families across 10 districts of Jammu & Kashmir, including Naushera, Akhnoor, Uri, Rajouri, Poonch, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipore, Anantnag, and Kishtwar.

• 66 Schools Transformed: Classrooms have been upgraded with smart boards, digital tools, solar energy, clean water, and hygienic sanitation facilities.

• Nutritional Security: Over 3,800 distressed families have received critical ration support during Operation Sindoor, supported by partners like Amazon, EY, and ARCIL.
• Livelihood Restoration:PwC-supported livelihood interventions have aided families impacted by the cross-border shellings through the provision of cattle and essential house construction materials, enabling income restoration and community resilience.

  A principal from Poonch shared:“For years, schools in our remote areas were neglected. Yuva Unstoppable has reached places others haven’t, empowering our children and teachers with technology and dignity. This dedication to the grassroots is how we’ll build a resilient Jammu & Kashmir.”

  Following his visit, Amitabh Shah called upon India’s corporate and philanthropic leaders to unite for the nation’s underserved border regions: “It’s time for philanthropy and CSR to come together so that every child living along India’s borders, especially in J&K, has access to quality education, nutrition, and opportunity. These regions remain among the least served, but the resilience and spirit of our people make change not only possible, but inevitable.”

  After completing his Master’s degree from Yale University, Mr. Amitabh Shah, our Founder and Viksit Bharat Ambassador, turned down a Wall Street offer with JP Morgan to work on the real streets of India and establish Yuva Unstoppable (among the top 10 largest NGOs in India). Amitabh is also the youngest Indian to receive the US Government’s International Ellis Island Award, an honour previously given to global icons like President Bill Clinton, President George Bush, Muhammad Ali, Paula Abdul, Indra Nooyi, and Malala Yousafzai. Our efforts have also been recognized by former Presidents of India - Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Shri Ram Nath Kovind.
