Normando Macalinao or famously known as Normando the Magician is an ace illusionist and well recognized around the world as one of the magic's rising stars. He has performed in many countries around the world like Saudi Arabia, Zanzibar and the Maldives, and gained much popularity and appreciation in every one of them.

Normando is very famous for his dexterity and specializes in illusions and card tricks. His famous card trick of correctly reading the card choice in a person's mind has vowed many famous personalities including boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and famous American footballer OBJ. This trick has earned him many lifelong fans. With more than hundreds of acts up his sleeves, Normando has been one of the manny Filipinos be voted the "The Top Most Influential Filipinos in The Gulf" by the illustrated Illustrado Magazine in the year 2020. Though currently based in Dubai, Normando Macalinao comes from a lovely small town called Aliaga in the Philippines. He was introduced to magic at an impressionable age of fourteen. He saw a local magician who put one ball on his hand and one ball in the other hand then the magician ask to open he's hand there were two balls already at Normando's hand! And that's the time Normando made up his mind to be a magician and spend his formative years working hard and developing his intuitive skills to understand the magic he charms many with.

Though the 'red ball' act still remains his favourites, performing and working with thousands of audiences has given Normando the tools to be the best performer and magician that he can be. He moved to Dubai in 2014 and worked in a hotel as a dishwasher/ waiter and moonlighted as a magician in his off time. He practiced in from of the hotel guests regularly. Normando is adept at the tricks he uses and was soon discovered by a local talent agency and started doing independent magic shows. He also has a big fan following on social media thanks to all his amazing and dazzling magic acts of mesmerizing the audiences completely.

Though Normando is on a fast track to becoming the world's best magician he has not forgotten about his Filipino roots. He has always been an active member of the local community and has a special connect with the young minds. He trains with them, teaches them, and counsels them often to channelize their energies in the right direction. His charity encourages showcasing of young and budding talents in Gulf as well as in his hometown.
