NDTV partners with 100 Pipers to celebrate India's 'True Legends'
New Delhi, Nov 23: Young India is brimming with brilliant minds who are working relentlessly in their specialized fields to create a positive impact in the society, without a bother of how many or how far are their good deeds known. All they work for is how far have their deeds reached and how many have they impacted.
To celebrate such individuals who have gone beyond the material markers of success to create a positive impact in the world, NDTV and Seagram's 100 Pipers have now launched 'True Legend - The Future of Young India', an initiative that, after meticulous screening, identifies such individuals and celebrates them.
These individuals who are the 'champions of good' could be from varied fields from start-up tech, business innovation, to music, sports, environment, and social work. The initiative will identify and felicitate these individuals through multiple levels of evaluation, including a NDTV editorial shortlisting process - through which nominees across these categories have been selected.
One 'True Legend' from each of these categories will finally be shortlisted through public voting and selected by the esteemed jury of this initiative. The jury comprises individuals who are already an inspiration for young India and 'true legends' in the truest sense of the word. The jury includes - actor, model and co-founder of Ketto Kunal Kapoor, co-founder Mamaearth Ghazal Alagh, football legend Bhaichung Bhutia, legendary musician Rabbi Shergill and Neeman's founder Taran Chabbra, Kartik Mohindra, Chief Marketing Officer, Pernod Ricard India, while talking about this initiative, said, "Seagram's 100 Pipers believes in leadership with purpose, and we always strive to work with partners who are aligned to our core philosophy of 'Be Remembered for Good'.
