Mr. Shalin Parikh has been honored with India's most prestigious award "Global Healthcare Award"

In July 2022, Mr. Parikh was awarded, "Best Healthcare Professional" by Xel research at "The 2022 Global Healthcare Awards" for outstanding professional achievement in Research & Development (Pharmaceutical Science) that not only advanced the field but also contributed to the development of the Indian Economy. A partner publication, "Journey the untold Success story magazine", sponsored the event.

Mr. Parikh has successfully created and patented novel drug abuse-deterrent technology. Furthermore, Mr. Parikh's illustrious research on Nitrosamine impurities in commonly used antihypertensive and antidiabetic dosage forms addresses the crucial concern of increased risk of cancer if people are exposed to levels beyond acceptable levels for long periods of time. This distinguished research has substantially aided the advancement of the pharmaceutical field.

An estimated one-third of the global population suffers from chronic pain. Opioid overdose is one of the leading causes of death due to drug abuse. The current drug problem primarily affects young people, resulting in physical, mental, moral, and intellectual deterioration as well as a waste of a nation's economic potential. Mr. Parikh has spent years preventing opioid dependence and overdose. He has developed a Novel Drug Abuse Deterrent Technology (NDADT) prototype for which he has received the CSR Times award 2021 for this outstanding contribution to the field. Opioid drug particles and pH-modifying ingredients were incorporated into the prototype technique. If an addict takes multiple pills at once, the innovative technology will delay the release of the opioid agonists, preventing the addict from experiencing high to obtain euphoria.

Additionally, drug safety is essential, and even more so in preventative treatment. Numerous regulatory agencies across the globe have recently identified nitrosamine impurities as a cause for grave concern because they pose a serious threat to human life. In the treatment of diabetes and hypertension, Mr. Parikh has discovered that it is more important when the medications are administered over a longer period of time. Mr. Parikh has developed cutting-edge risk assessment and mitigation techniques that can significantly reduce the risk of patients being exposed to these cancer-causing substances in order to control their presence at the first stage. The developed research results are a huge benefit for patients and can help people live longer.

At present, Mr. Parikh is working in a senior position with Senores Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd and with Accuvet Lifesciences. Further, he also worked as a researcher for more than a decade at renowned pharmaceutical firms like Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited and Zydus Lifescience Limited.
