Mikki Koomar Completed his 3rd DAN BLACK BELT from Kukkiwon Korean Taekwondo Arts
Mikki Koomar, a name synonymous with martial arts excellence, has recently achieved a significant milestone in his lifelong journey. He proudly completed his 3rd Dan Black Belt from Kukkiwon Korean Taekwondo Arts, further solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with in the martial arts world.
Born on 20th February 1989 in Mumbai, Koomar's path to success was paved with unwavering determination and a thirst for knowledge. His education, obtained at the prestigious Thakur College of Science and Commerce, laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors. However, it was his early achievements that thrust him into the spotlight and set the stage for his remarkable martial arts career.

At the tender age of 12, Koomar made headlines by clinching the National level gold medal in the 10th All India International Itosukai Shotokan Cup Karate Championship in 2002. The esteemed newspaper, Saamana, featured his achievements, amplifying his name across the nation. In the same year, he also secured a silver medal in the highly competitive All India Full Contact Karate Championship. Koomar's passion and skill propelled him to even greater heights as he continued to excel in various karate competitions. In 2003, he added two more medals to his collection, one for his impeccable kata performance and another for his outstanding performance in the Kumite competition within the Gensei-Ryu Seidokai International Karate-Do Federation. His meteoric rise continued in 2004 when he claimed two more medals, this time in the 15th National World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Championship.
Eager to expand his martial arts prowess, Koomar ventured to Bangkok upon completing his education. During his time there, he not only attained a gold medal in the National Level Full Contact Fight Tournament but also honed his skills as an Assistant Fight Choreographer and Assistant Action Director in both Thai and Korean films. It was a period of growth and exploration that shaped him into the well-rounded martial artist he is today.
Koomar's journey of mastery extends beyond karate and taekwondo. Over 21 years, he has dedicated himself to various combat arts, including Judo, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and many more. He has undergone specialized self-defense technical training in countries such as Bangkok, Spain, and Brazil, broadening his expertise and earning the title of a true samurai.
The martial arts community has taken notice of Koomar's exceptional abilities, bestowing him with numerous honors and accolades. Among these, he was recently honored as a Grand Master by the Turkish Martial Arts Hun Boxing Association's General President, a distinguished figure in the Hun Boxing world. This recognition solidifies Koomar's status as a leader and an ambassador for the sport.
Furthermore, the French University E.S. Robert de Sorbon acknowledged Koomar's remarkable achievements by conferring upon him the Higher Honorary Doctorate Degree in the field of Sports (Martial Arts). This prestigious honor was presented alongside Member of Parliament Mr. Manoj Tiwari ji, highlighting Koomar's significant contributions to the field. It is a level 8 Honorary Doctorate Degree, placing him in the company of esteemed individuals, including ministers and other prominent figures.

Koomar's journey of excellence has been recognized by various organizations worldwide. The Xinghong Wushu Academy International Wushu Association in China honored him for his superior excellence. In Spain, he was acknowledged as a Divine Warrior by Guerrero Divino Defensor de la Paz. Additionally, the World Combative Federation in the United States of America acknowledged Koomar as an International Athlete, solidifying his global reputation in the martial arts community.
Adding to his list of esteemed titles, Koomar was appointed as an Honorable Member and International Ambassador for the Armenian Kantao Kenpo Style Federation. This appointment, conferred by the International President of the federation, Mr. Salvador Toro, highlights Koomar's dedication and contributions to the martial arts world.
Further recognition came from the Kobura Ninpo Kobura Jiu-Jitsu Kobura System and the Buffalo Oushi Jujutsu Organization in Spain, both honoring Koomar for his outstanding performance in his international sports career as an athlete. These accolades signify his remarkable achievements and the respect he commands within the martial arts realm.
Expanding his skill set even further, Koomar recently completed training in Japanese sword fighting, combat white weapons, and character protection. He achieved official international coach certification and samurai fighting recognition from the International Martial Arts Federation of Tigers and Protected Figures. This certification solidifies his expertise and positions him as a respected authority in these traditional martial arts disciplines.
