Meet Arti Srivastava, the girl who made waste to useful day-to-day items

Sustainability is a lifestyle, a lifestyle to recycle, reduce and refuse the use of plastics and nonbiodegradable items that deplete the environment. And recycling is the by far the best means for a sustainable environment

Here is a creator (Arti Srivastava) from Josh bringing her best creative talent to revive what's called waste to useful day-to-day items and following her footsteps towards creating a flourishing tomorrow.

The fact that she lacked fancy things in her regular life, she started discovering an interest in reviving what was available! Isn't that by far the best definition of a sustainable lifestyle, revive, recycle and refuse?

It grew as she began to consider how to create similar items in an environmentally responsible manner. That's how Arti got the idea to use tree bark, worn-out book pages, old/torn pages into brand-new crafts and ornamental items, making homemade rice glue to an earring that stole the show, name it and Subhra will find the most eco-friendly way to create them!"

Arti Srivastava always had a passion for arts and crafts, and since she was little, she participated in all the school competitions and events. She enjoyed it so much that she started making projects and assignments for her cousins without getting tired of it. She wanted the world to know how every item at home we thought was waste could be recycled into brilliant artifacts. She came across short video spaces and thought, here's a way she could share her talent with the world!

However, she was unable to start it straight away due to a lack of resources and facilities. She was aware of my potential, but it wasn't enough because she lacked a nice phone to record videos in order to reach a wider audience and exhibit her talent which would enlighten ways to recycle waste.

Despite all of her challenges, her family has always been supportive of her work. One of her cousins then recognised the potential and gifted her a phone which paved a way. She began making videos and came across Josh (short video platform) which has undoubtedly assisted and guided her throughout her journey, as they rightly stand for such powerful causes.

Her work was not only acknowledged by Josh, but she has started receiving monetary benefits, and helped her reach more people. Josh also verified her account on the app to acknowledge her efforts and was chosen as a "Popular Creator" and given the chance to participate in several competitions. One of them was the JCL competition, where she won the phone.

Actions which meet the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs is what she teaches us!
