Little Cute Girl Kalasha... Asia Icon 2024

His Excellency Shri. Maithripala Sirisena Former President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka personally attended this event and honored Dr. Kalasha Naidu as Asia Icon 2024.

The parents continued to lovingly caress their sweet little girl. However, the child wondered, "Can I only feel the love and kisses shared by my parents... or all children can have it?" As a toddler, she would joyfully share the toys and biscuits her parents gave her with other children. As she grew, her love for society expanded, surpassing geographical boundaries. The social work she began in Visakhapatnam has now spread beyond state and national borders, reaching across continents. That child is none other than Dr. Kalashanaidu Medapureddy.

Even at the young age of eleven, this little girl, has connected with many other young girls from around the world. She loves those who don't have the support of their parents, nurturing them like a mother. She takes on the responsibility of a father by fulfilling their needs. Because of this, at just eleven years old, this young girl has become a social service icon on the Asian continent. The Asia Icon 2024 award, presented by the Government of Sri Lanka, was bestowed upon her in recognition of her efforts.

Kalashanaidu is a genius who can speak eloquently on any topic, in addition to her community service. She is known for her sharp intellect, and scholars around the world have admired and blessed her for her intellectual abilities. Her speech in the British Parliament received resounding applause. While most children her age are still learning lessons from their teachers, Kalashanaidu is astonishing world leaders with her speeches on international platforms.

In recognition of her contributions to society, she was awarded an honorary doctorate at a very young age. In the British Parliament, she was praised as a genius by the parliamentarians. Then-British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak invited Kalashanaidu to the UK and welcomed her to his official residence, where she was honored with high tea. He even advised his daughters, Anoushka and Krishna, to look up to Kalashanaidu as a role model.
Dr. Kalashanaidu has gained international recognition for her social service, offering love and support to the victims and the needy, while also meeting their basic needs by providing books and school supplies. In addition to this, she has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to various sectors of society. The Government of Sri Lanka has selected Dr. Kalashanaidu for the prestigious Asia Icon Award 2024.

The Asia Icon 2024 Awards program, hosted by the Government of Sri Lanka, was held in Colombo on the 26th and 27th of this month, where Dr. Kalashanaidu was honored. She received the award from Shri. Maithripala Sirisena, Former President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Colombo Governor Senthil Thandaman, Foreign Minister Taraka Balasurya and Youth Affairs Minister Rohana Dishannayake participated as special guests in this honor program.
