Honda Shine 100 Launched At Rs 64,900 - The New Commuter King
The Honda Shine has been dominating the 125cc motorcycle segment for quite a long time now and recently the Japanese two-wheeler giant decided to shine a light on the 100 to 110cc commuter segment.
The Honda Shine 100 is priced at an attractive Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The all-new Honda Shine 100 is the most affordable and fuel-efficient motorcycle from the motorcycle marque for the Indian market with as many as 12 patent applications for the enhancement of reliability.

The Honda Shine 100 is powered by an all-new 99.7cc OBD2-compliant engine and can also run on the upcoming E20 (20% ethanol) blended fuels. This single-cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 7.5bhp and 8.1Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
The engine comes packed with a host of tech that help enhance its reliability and ease of use. These features include Programmed Fuel Injection which optimises fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.
The engine also features a piston cooling jet that reduces friction and maintains optimum engine temperature. Add in the solenoid that acts as an automatic choke system and the external fuel pump which reduces the maintenance time for the Shine 100.
Along with the fuel-efficient and reliable engine, the Honda Shine 100 brings with it even more options that ensure the ride is as stress-free as possible for the rider and passenger.
The long and comfortable seat which measures 677mm long, provides ample amount of space for the rider and pillion both on longer rides and the everyday commute. This is further aided by the comfortable seating posture.
The seat height of the Honda Shine 100 of 786mm allows almost every Indian rider to put their feet on the ground when stationary. The long wheelbase of 1,245mm and high ground clearance of 168mm makes the Shine 100 stable at higher speeds and bad road conditions inspiring rider confidence.
The excellent gradeability allows the Shine 100 to easily climb inclines even while carrying heavy loads. While the Combi-Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer ensures every ride on the Shine 100 is comfortable and convenient.
The design of the Shine 100 looks as elegant as they come with the appealing front cowl, all-black alloy wheels, practical aluminium grab rail, bold tail lamp and sleek muffler.
The Honda Shine 100 is available in 5 colour options - Black with Red Stripes, Black with Blue Stripes, Black with Green Stripes, Black with Gold Stripes and Black with Grey Stripes.
