Dr Divakant Misra who became source of light for others

Dr. Diva Kant Misra (MBBS, DO, DNB, MNAMS, FVRS) is the Director of Swarnjyoti Eye Hospital and Head of Retina Services at Swarnjyoti Eye Hospital , Lucknow. He has completed his retina training from primer institutes like Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati and Byers Eye Institute, Stanford, San Francisco, USA. He hold the post of Vice President, Young Ophthalmologists Society of India.

He is profecient in managing complicated retinal disorders and has experience of performing over 10,000 retinal surgeries.

Due to his experience and dedication he has been felicitated by many International ophthalmic awards like, Achievement Award by Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, Bangkok 2019, Ophthalmic Hero of India 2020, 2019 & 2018, The Yasuo Tano Award from Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, Singapore in 2017 and The APVRS Award 2018, Malysia Singapore and IJO Best of Best Award 2017-18. He has published extensively (30 publications (Indexed & Non Indexed) and book chapters) and has been guest faculty at various international conferences like American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO), EURETINA etc and presented in conferences held at various international( WOC Mexico, APAO Singapore, APAO HongKong, APVRS Malysia, EURETINA Vienna) and national forums. He is a reviewer for PLOS ONE, IJO, IJCEO etc. Other achievement includes : Best Poster, VRSI2018, KR Dutta Gold Medal for Best research paper 2018,1st prize, Dr Raman Mittal Gold Medal OPAI2015, AIOS IJO writing Competition 2017, Video 2nd Prize OTSI 2015 and OSA 2016, State Ophthalmology Quiz champion 2015.
