Director Vedd Rawtaani's Suraj aur Saanjh earns the comedy series of the year award

Amidst the various genres of entertainment, it is not easy to create comic content yet many brainboxes do it like child's play and one such creative mind is Vedd Rawtaani. He is a film director whose short films and web series bestowed the world a reflection of his imaginative mind.

This rom-com series narrates the crazy story of two protagonists who meet in odd circumstances and later end up having feelings for each other. The script of this series is written by Krishna K Agarwal. Directing the story of two different poles, Vedd did a stunning job by portraying them precisely. On receiving this notable award, director Vedd Rawtaani said, "It was the joint efforts of every member that enabled us this title. The five episodes of this series will treat you to the terrific and fun-filled roller-coaster ride."

Born and brought in the city of dreams, Mumbai, Vedd was already drawn towards the wonders of cinema. He started as a cinematographer and therefore, even his camera skills are very impressive.

The director has also worked on the blockbuster movie Gully Boy's promotional videos and the background scenes. His commendable work in this entertainment industry made him one of the youngest cinematographers to reach the Dada Saheb Phwalke Awards show.
