Build Green Legacy with Hosachiguru Managed Farmland
Hosachiguru was founded in 2014 by Sriram Chitlur, Ashok Kumar Jayanthi, and Srinath Setty, with the vision of reconnecting people with nature while offering an alternative to traditional real estate.
The journey began in 2009, when the founders ventured into agriculture with their first project, Jayanthi Farms, in Rayadurg, Andhra Pradesh.

This experience gave them invaluable insights into farming and led to the creation of Hosachiguru, a company committed to sustainable land ownership.
In 2013, Hosachiguru was formally established, with the goal of offering managed farmlands that allow people to invest in land and live a lifestyle deeply connected to nature. Their first major project, The Green Alpha Project, was located across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, and marked the beginning of their journey toward eco-friendly land development.
From 2014 to 2020, Hosachiguru launched over 1000 acres of managed farmland, adopting several sustainable farming practices. These methods ensured the land remained productive and healthy without relying on harmful chemicals. Practices such as rainwater harvesting, Jeevamrutam (an organic fertilizer), and mulching helped create a more self-sustaining ecosystem. Additionally, the company integrated natural pest management techniques like Neem-based pest control and organic sprays, which minimized the use of synthetic pesticides.
By 2021, the company had onboarded over 1000+ co-farmers across 20+ locations, expanding their approach to land ownership and sustainable living. In 2023, Hosachiguru reached a major milestone, having completed 25 projects, with each one designed to allow people to live harmoniously with nature while enjoying modern comforts.
Hosachiguru's farming philosophy includes the use of composting and vermicomposting to enrich the soil and reduce waste. The integration of swales and keyline design helps manage water effectively, ensuring that the land remains hydrated while preventing soil erosion. This careful design ensures the land is resilient and capable of supporting long-term agricultural activities.
In addition to these techniques, solar energy is incorporated into many of Hosachiguru's projects, reducing dependence on external energy sources and lowering the environmental impact. These practices make Hosachiguru's projects environmentally sustainable and economically viable
The company's flagship projects, Unnati and Maamara, showcase these practices effectively. Unnati, located near Chikkaballapur, offers Farm Villa Plots where 50% of the land is dedicated to edible landscaping. Residents can grow their own food while enjoying amenities like a clubhouse, sports facilities, and a yoga deck, all designed to balance nature with comfort.
Maamara, set within a 25-acre mango orchard in Arehalli, Ramanagara, is a nature retreat for those seeking peace and natural beauty. The project integrates sustainable farming practices, including water conservation and natural pest management. Activities like sunset hikes, stargazing, and organic farming help residents immerse themselves in nature while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Hosachiguru's journey from a small agroforestry initiative to a leader in managed farmlands showcases the company's dedication to sustainability and community building. The company's focus on water conservation, organic farming, and eco-friendly practices ensures that each project contributes to a greener, more sustainable future.
With Unnati and Maamara, Hosachiguru offers people the opportunity to live sustainably, grow their own food, and reconnect with nature, all while enjoying modern amenities.
For those looking to invest in a lifestyle that prioritizes sustainability, community, and nature, Hosachiguru provides the ideal environment. Whether you're interested in a farm villa plot or a nature retreat, Hosachiguru's projects offer a chance to live in harmony with the earth while enjoying the benefits of modern life.
With sustainable farming practices that preserve the environment, each project offers an eco-conscious way to invest in the future.
