Abhishek Salvi’s Digital Restorations of Balasaheb’s photos for Calendar 2022, unveiled by Aditya Thackeray

Abhishek Salvi is an artist and illustrator, who got to be a part of Calendar 2022, launched by I Love Mumbai Foundation president, Rahul N. Kanal.

Abhishek has made his way into the world of digital artists through his ups and downs. He started his career as a freelance portrait artist and made custom pencil portraits for his clients. Exploring more, he got into digital paintings and illustrations with his style of art, keeping them as realistic as possible. "It's very difficult to sustain in this field as majority of the people misunderstand this type of art for digital editing." Says Abhishek.

He started digitally restoring old photographs which were blur and damaged for his client's couple of years back. And his restoration work got into light when he got this chance, where he had to Digitally restore old photographs of late Balasaheb Thackeray for Calendar 2022 to be launched on his Birth Anniversary.

This Calendar was unveiled by the grandson of Balasaheb Thackeray and the Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra, Aditya Thackeray with the presence of the Mayor of Mumbai, Kishori Pednekarji and the president of I Love Mumbai Foundation, Rahul N. Kanal.
