A Father’s Day Special | Astrologer and Numerologist, Manisha Koushik shares the 3 Things she learnt from her
From listening to stories about Tarot cards on their evening walks, to now practising Astrology, Numerology and other related sciences, together, Manisha Koushik has always shared an extraordinary bond with her father, the renowned celebrity astrologer, Dr Prem Kumar Sharma. On the special occasion of Father's Day, she shares with us the 3 most significant pieces of life advice her father gave her.
While it is easy being overshadowed by the legacy of a famous parent like renowned Indian celebrity astrologer, Dr Prem Kumar Sharma, a stalwart in his domain, his daughter, Manisha Koushik, has managed to carve her own shining reputation as an Astrologer, Numerologist, Tarot card expert, and much more, globally. Even so, she humbly devotes it all to her father's genius as a guru and guide.

Manisha Koushik Feels Honored To Be Walking In Her Father's Footsteps
Having been trained by the maestro himself, Manisha Koushik rejoices in the feedback she gets from her clients of bearing resemblance to her famous father in her discourses, general positive approach and counseling. She deems it an honor to have an association with a master like him, who according to her has opened a gateway for her into the world of the astrological sciences. Even after having a strong and loyal clientele of her own from across the globe, including Japan, Australia, China, and the USA, she considers it a matter of pride to be able to create the same connection with her father's audiences.
The Importance Of Finding Her Own Individuality
When you ask Manisha how she found her individuality, she says it was her father who taught her to learn more skills and find her niche. He did this by handing her her first pack of Rider Waite Tarot Cards on her sixteenth birthday, and prophecising, that it's what the world would know her for. And sure enough, as one of the most accurate Tarot Card experts, Manisha Koushik has certainly created a space and name for herself in the world of Tarot predictions.
While it is often a privilege to be compared to a parent, it also runs the risk of lacking indiviudality. This is, however, certainly not the case with Manisha and her father.
Over the last 14 years of professionally practicing the astrological sciences, she has appeared on several media channels and newspapers, with accurate predictions based on political, entertainment and sporting events. Additionally, she is also a well-known author and motivational speaker. According to Manisha, the process of learning and upgrading ones skills, never ends. This is why she is also currently researching the various things that influence certain patterns in specific groups of individuals, from the data that she and her father have collected through their clients, over the years.

Prioritise Positivity In Your Life
Manisha says she learnt the importance of maintaining positivity in ones life from her father. She says he taught her that while there isn't a pill you can pop daily for being positive, it is a skill, like any other, that needs to be practiced consciously, and daily. When you master this skill, you are not only able to lead a happy life, you are also able to guide others towards happiness.
Be Passionate About What You Do
One of the most important things that Manisha learnt from her father, was being passionate about work. He made her understand that since people tend to spend the most time in their lives at work, it becomes essential that they find a passion within them for the work they do. Because when you're passionate about what you do, work doesn't feel like work anymore.
What Ever You Do, Do It With Sincerity
Manisha Koushik's father also imibed in her the necessity for sincerity towards ones craft. He taught her that the best work you do is the one that comes as a result of not just your talent, but how sincerely you've done it. He said that whether it is in your personal life, or with your predictions, what ever you work on, work on it with sincerity, and that's how you will succeed.
