Majored In Engineering But Transitioned Into An IT Professional

When it comes to Hasnain Nawaz, words like "hardworking" and "entrepreneurial" need no explanation. For him, business is all about making money-and he knows how to do it.

Nawaz has been working in the IT industry since he graduated from a local government college in 2014 with an Associate Engineering Degree. He saw no bright future for himself in engineering, especially when it came to the civil engineering sector.

So instead of pursuing a career in engineering, Nawaz enrolled in computer science classes at a local institute and earned diplomas in IT subjects like PHP, software development, SEO, eBay training, dropshipping, and Amazon product hunting.

He used his newfound skillset to find a job. He first began working for Pepsi as a computer operator but soon found work at one of his country's top eCommerce agencies as well. There, Nawaz continued to work hard but made sure to bring revenue into the company too.

Hasnain Nawaz was a well-loved employee, but he didn't realize it until he got laid off. His bosses called him in for a meeting, and he thought it was about his performance. When he finally got to the office, however, they told him that they wanted to let him go-he had been doing so much above and beyond the call of duty that they couldn't keep up with all of his work.

Hasnain was devastated by the news. He'd worked so hard for this company-and now they were throwing him out like trash? How could someone do this to someone who had given so much?

He realized one thing: If he wanted to be successful in business, he would need to become an entrepreneur instead of working for someone else. And so he decided then and there that from that day forward, he would work for himself instead.

He didn't want to be a slave to another man's whims. He wanted the freedom to make his own decisions about where he worked and what he did with his time. And so, when Hasnain was 24 years old, Hasnain pledged to start his own business instead.
