What happened before and after Sunanda Pushkar's death in Delhi Hotel

have been making headlines since past few days. But a news around 8:30 pm on Friday evening shocked everyone in the country. Sunanda Pushkar, wife of the Union Minister, has been found dead in Leela Palace Hotel in New Delhi.

Delhi Police sources claimed that it could be a case of suicide. However, no suicide note has been found yet. Investigating officials began query on Friday night and autopsy report is expected to come by Saturday evening.

Here are the sequence of events before and after Sunanda Pushkar's death:

Jan 16: Mr and Mrs Tharoor checked into the Hotel Leela Palace in Delhi as the government house allocated to them was being painted. Some reports claim the couple had checked into two separate suites - 342 and 345.

Jan 17: Mr Tharoor left hotel around 8:00 am to attend the crucial AICC meeting organised by his party Congress. Mrs Tharoor was last seen on the lobby of the hotel around 3:30 pm. Later Mr Tharoor returned to the hotel at 8:00 pm.

Mr Tharoor tweeted from his Twitter account that he would not attend Jaipur Literary Fest as his wife not well.

Mrs Tharoor's attendants did not disturb her as they thought that she was taking rest as she was unwell. However, when she did not open the door, Mr Tharoor got suspicious and asked hotel staff to barge into the room.

When Mr Tharoor entered into the room, he found Mrs Tharoor lying dead on the bed. He immediately asked his personal assistance to inform police.
