West Delhi Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 Live and Latest News: West Delhi, one of the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi, emerged after the delimitation of parliamentary and assembly constituencies in 2008.

Previously, it was partially included in the Outer Delhi parliamentary constituency and partially in the South Delhi constituency. With a population of 2,543,243, it stands as one of Delhi's most affluent and densely populated regions.

This parliamentary constituency comprises 10 assembly constituencies, including Madipur, Janakpuri, Dwarka, and Rajouri Garden. Notable residential and commercial areas such as Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar, Punjabi Bagh, and Patel Nagar fall within its boundaries.

In the 2019 elections, BJP's Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma secured victory with 865,648 votes, while Congress' Mahabal Mishra and AAP's Balbir Jakhar finished second and third, respectively. Similarly, in 2014, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma defeated Aam Aadmi Party's General Singh, clinching victory with 651,395 votes.
