West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee meets Rajnath Singh, discusses about Burdwan blast
New Delhi, Nov 18: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed with him the Burdwan blast and other issues concerning the state.
Official sources said that during the 30-minute meeting, Banerjee briefed the Home Minister regarding the prevailing law and order in West Bengal.

Singh is understood to have raised the issue of incident of October 2 Burdwan blastand asked Banerjee to intensify the vigil across the state.
Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh was allegedly involved in the blast and National Investigation Agency has reportedly found a wide network of the banned terror outfit.
Issues like modernisation of police forces and the Naxal situation also figured their meeting, sources said.
