WATCH Video | Delhi CM Atishi’s Belongings Forcibly Removed From Residence, CMO Claims
In a surprising turn of events, Delhi's Chief Minister's Office (CMO) alleged that Atishi's belongings were "forcibly removed" from her official residence on Wednesday, just two days after she moved in.
The CMO attributed the order to Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, a central government appointee from the BJP.

The residence at 6-Flag Staff Road in the Civil Lines area, once occupied by former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, recently became available after Kejriwal stepped down last month following his Supreme Court bail in a corruption case. Previously dubbed "Sheesh Mahal" by opposition leaders for its opulent features, the residence has drawn criticism as a symbol of Kejriwal's alleged departure from his "aam aadmi" (common man) image.

Amidst political tensions, AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged at a press conference that the Public Works Department (PWD) had not yet officially allotted the bungalow to Atishi, despite Kejriwal's departure. He accused the BJP of attempting to "usurp" the CM's residence, suggesting the opposition was frustrated by AAP's continued hold on the Delhi assembly.
In response, BJP Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, raised questions about why the keys to the bungalow hadn't been handed over to PWD by Kejriwal. He demanded the property be sealed, accusing Atishi of "occupying" it without formal allotment.
With assembly elections scheduled in February, Kejriwal recently announced he would only consider returning as Chief Minister if he receives a "certificate of honesty" from voters. Meanwhile, AAP chose Atishi to step into the role, as the party gears up for the upcoming election season amidst heightened political tension.
Tejashwi Yadav Accused of Emptying Official Residence: Danish Iqbal Speaks Out
Danish Iqbal has made serious allegations against Tejashwi Yadav, claiming that the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar stripped his official residence of nearly all its furnishings upon vacating. According to Iqbal, the residence was left in disarray, with critical items removed, including the base of the bed, air conditioning units, lighting fixtures, and even the water outlets in the washroom. He further noted that the badminton court mat, fountain lights, and sofas were also taken.
"This speaks volumes about his mentality," Iqbal stated, emphasizing that such actions reflect poorly on Yadav's character. "I'm not merely making an accusation; it's evident. The way Tejashwi Yadav left his official residence demonstrates a disregard for public property," he added.
Iqbal's remarks raise concerns regarding the treatment of government assets by elected officials, underscoring the importance of integrity in public office.
