UPSC Civil Services Exam Result 2022 Out At upsc.gov.in; Ishita Kishore tops

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday declared the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2022. Ishita Kishore, Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra have secured the top ranks respectively, in the examinations.

Candidates who appeared for the UPSC CSE main interview can now check their results at the official website - upsc.gov.in.

Ishita Kishore, the topper, has graduated in Economics (Hons.) from Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. She secured the top position in the Civil Services Examination with­­­­­­­­­­­­ Political Science and International Relations as her optional subject.

Garima Lohia, a graduate in Commerce from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi, secured second rank with Commerce and Accountancy as her optional subject.

Uma Harathi N, a graduate (B Tech.) in Civil Engineering from IIT, Hyderabad stood third in the rank with Anthropology as her optional subject.

Smriti Mishra, a graduate (B Sc.) from Miranda House College, University of Delhi stood fourth in the rank with Zoology as her optional subject.

The list of top 25 candidates comprise 14 women and 11 men.

The toppers qualification range from graduation in Engineering; Humanities; Science; Commerce and Medical Science from premier Institutions of the country such as IIT, NIT, DTU, Gauhati Medical College, University of Health Science, University of Delhi, Gujarat National Law University, Jadavpur University, Jiwaji University etc.

The civil services preliminary exam was held on on June 5, 2022. The UPSC also conducted the personality test or interview round for 582 candidates in three phases between April 24 to May 18, 2023.
