Uma Bharti: Robert Vadra is a thief, will be punished

New Delhi, April 25: Robert Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi, has off lately become the punching bag for the Opposition and today, BJP leader

too hit out at him, calling him a 'thief.'

Uma, who spoke to CNN-IBN said that 'Robert Vadra was a thief, who will be punished irrespective of his ties with the Gandhis.' She said that Vadra was not an important person, but the kind of theft that he has committed is so huge that she is bound to speak about him.

"He is known because he married Sonia's daughter. Let me tell Priyanka that whether it is her husband or anybody else, the law is equal for every thief," she said.

Uma Bharti: I had misjudged Narendra Modi in 2007

Admitting that she had misjudged the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Bharti said: "I had misjudged Modi in 2007 and called him destructive, but I realised my mistake within three days."

She then praised Modi and said that his rise has been phenomenal, my best wishes and blessings are with him.
