UGC NET Result: Where To Check Your Marks Online?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is poised to announce the results of the Union Grant Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) on January 17, covering all 83 subjects.
The candidates are required to use their application numbers and date of birth as login credentials to download the UGC NET result.

The UGC - NET December 2023 was held across the nation in 292 cities. A total of 9,45,918 candidates took the exams which were held between December 6 and December 19.
The provisional answer key for the examination was made available on January 3, and objections were accepted until January 5, 2024.
For the specific subject of archaeology, the answer key was released on January 8, with objections being entertained until January 10, 2024.
About the UGC NET Exam
The UGC NET Exam, also called The National Eligibility Test, is a competitive exam conducted by the NTA on behalf of the UGC in India.
The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in June and December, and is counted in the list of one of the most challenging and prestigious exams for those who aspire to become assistant professors or want a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in universities in India.
To appear for this exam, the applicant must have completed a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognised university with at least 55 per cent in the relevant subject. For reserved category candidates, the bar is at 50 per cent. There is no age limit to appear for the exam.
The exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, and both are conducted in an online mode.
Paper 1 is a common paper that includes questions on teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, reading comprehension and general awareness. While Paper 2 is subject-specific. The questions are based on the subject chosen by the candidate.
Paper 1 contains 50 MCQ, each carrying two marks. The total duration to solve the paper is one hour. On the other hand, Paper 2 contains 100 MCQ, each weighing two marks. The duration of this exam is two hours.
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 40 per cent marks in each paper to qualify for the exam. Applicants from the reserved category need to secure 35 per cent to crack the exam.
