2 fire incidents in Noida, no loss of life

Greater Noida, May 13: Two fire incidents were reported from separate areas here in which there was loss of property but no loss of life was reported.

Fire broke out this afternoon at the bicycle manufacturing unit of Fire Fox company located in toy city area under Ecotech-3 police station, fire officials said.

It took five hours to extinguish the fire and property worth crores was lost, they said.

"Around 100 employees were working in the factory when the fire broke out. They were timely moved out. Two fire tenders took five hours to extinguish the fire," Fire Station Officer Shantanu Yadav said.

Another fire incident was reported in a garbage dump in Noida sector-63. Two cars parked nearby also caught fire.
