Triple Murder in Delhi: Man Confesses After Killing Family Members

A 25-year-old man in Delhi confessed to killing three close relatives. The deaths took place at a house in Laxmi Nagar on Monday. Police described the incident as a triple murder case. Officers said the man linked the killings to financial stress within the family.

According to investigators, the accused has been identified as Yashveer Singh. Police stated that the three victims were Yashveer Singh’s mother Kavita, aged 46, sister Meghana, aged 24, and brother Mukul, aged 14. All three were found inside their Laxmi Nagar residence.

Officials said Yashveer Singh arrived at the Laxmi Nagar Police Station at about 5 pm. There, Yashveer Singh reportedly informed officers that the killings had happened because of financial problems, according to news agency PTI. "On receiving the information, police teams immediately rushed to the address mentioned by the man. Upon verification, the bodies of the woman and her two children were found lying inside the house," a police official was quoted as saying by PTI.

Police teams are now examining the crime scene and speaking to neighbours and relatives. Officers are checking the financial angle mentioned by Yashveer Singh and waiting for post-mortem reports.
