New Delhi, Nov 21: Tehelka Managing Editor Shoma Chaudhury on Thursday said she would address all issues that arose around the charges that founder of the magazine Tarun Tejpal sexually assaulted a young woman colleague.

Speaking to the media, Chaudhury said she would like to address all queries pertaining to the issue in a right manner. She said Tehelka is "not a fugitive institution" and it was a "grievous incident" that has happened. She also informed that she was in touch with the journalist.

On Wednesday, Tejpal wrote to Chaudhury saying he chose to step down from his job for six months and took the blame for the misconduct. He said he made a bad judgment and made an unconditional apology to the concerned journalist but felt to atone for his act further.

Meanwhile, the victim who told a news channel that she was disappointed with the Tehelka authorities' response, reiterated later in the day that it was extremely difficult for her. No further response could be received from Tejpal.
