Tehelka fiasco: Trinamool MP stakeholder to pull out from venture?

Singh, who is a majority stakeholder through direct and indirect holdings, said he has 65 per cent stake in Tehelka and that they would exit the venture, the report said.
The TMC MP said he was more worried about Brand Tehelka following the Goa incident. He said Tejpal was a personal friend of him and he who is accused of the grievous charges is not the one he knew closely.
TMC spokesperson Derek O'Brien recently tweeted on the matter, saying that Singh had clarified to him that he did not own Tehelka and had nothing to do with the publication. O'Brien, however, deleted the tweet later.
