Chilling details have surfaced in the tragic murder case of Swiss national Nina Berger, whose lifeless body was discovered wrapped in a garbage bag in Delhi earlier this month.

During the ordeal, the accused callously laughed at Nina as she desperately attempted to free herself. According to a NDTV report quoting sources, it was further disclosed that she struggled for approximately 30 agonizing minutes before succumbing to her fate. They stated, "Her eyes protruded and the accused laughed seeing her misery"

Subsequently, the assailant placed her lifeless body in the seat next to the driver's seat of the car and employed black sunshades on the car windows, similar to the ones on the windshield.

Nina Berger's lifeless body was discovered partially covered in a black disposal bag near a government school in Tilak Nagar on 20th October, sending shockwaves throughout the nation.

The suspect, Gurpreet Singh, has been apprehended by the police. He had established a connection with the victim in Switzerland and reportedly harbored intentions of extorting money from her.

Sources suggest that Gurpreet had visited Berger in Switzerland and harbored suspicions about her involvement with another man. This led him to hatch a sinister plot to end her life and invited her to India for this malevolent purpose.

Nina Berger arrived in India on 11th October, and a few days later, the accused allegedly executed his gruesome plan. He had also purchased a car under a false identity and concealed her body within the vehicle until the foul odour forced him to discard the body on the road.

Law enforcement agencies managed to trace Gurpreet using the vehicle's registration number, with the assistance of CCTV footage. They seized the car in which the body had been concealed, along with another four-wheeler belonging to the accused. Additionally, a substantial amount of ₹2.25 crore was recovered from the accused's residence.
