Shahdara Fire Two Killed

Shobit Gupta, a resident from a nearby building, witnessed the incident. "I was doing my morning puja on the balcony around 5:05 AM when I saw flames from the opposite building. Initially, I thought it was due to firecrackers, but it turned out to be a short circuit in the AC. I called the fire brigade, but the fire quickly spread to the upper floors. Two residents couldn't escape and tragically lost their lives. It took the fire brigade 1.5 hours to reach, as parked vehicles in the narrow lanes slowed them down," he shared.

The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire.
