Sandeep Dikshit's assets increase from Rs 1.8 cr to 7.8 cr in 5 years

's assets have grown by almost four times in the past five years from Rs 1.8 crore to Rs 7.3 crore.

Dikshit, who will be contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the East Delhi constituency filed his nomination papers on Friday and declared moveable assests worth Rs 1.6 crore, including those of his wife and daughter's.

Dikshit owns six vehicles while his wife posses 890 gm of gold worth Rs 23.4 lakhs , silver articles worth Rs 1.3 lakhs and diamond jewellry worth Rs 23.4 lakhs.

Dikshit also own animals worth Rs 38 lakhs, tractor and trolley worth around Rs 4.5 lakhs.

Dikshit after filing his nomination said that there was no Modi wave in the country and that it was all a creation of media. He said that the Congress party was confident of winning the elections.

He said: "There is a lot of resentment and confusion in the BJP. Candidates are fighting over election tickets. What sort of a wave is that?"
