The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a significant announcement regarding the initiation of online applications for technician positions under advertisement number CEN No.02/2024. The official notice includes a provisional recruitment schedule for the Technician role, accessible on the RRBs' official regional website. The notice specifies the recruitment of a total of 9,000 Technician vacancies. Detailed information on these vacancies will be published in the February 2024 edition of the Employment News paper. However, the specific release date for the notification is yet to be disclosed by the Railway Department.

When will the online application process commence?

The Railway Department is set to commence the online application process in March, concluding in April 2024. The computer-based test is tentatively scheduled between October and December 2024. Selected candidates will undergo document verification on February 25. Once the official detailed notification is released, interested candidates can submit their applications for approximately 9,000 vacancies through the respective RRB official website.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must have completed SSLC or ITI from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Additionally, candidates should be between 18 and 33 years old.

According to the notice, the detailed recruitment notification will be released in February 2024, and the online application process is expected to commence in March or April. Following the initiation of the online application process, candidates can visit the official Indian Railways website, indianrailways.gov.in, to complete and submit their application forms within the specified timeframe.
