Radhika Yadav’s Co-Actor Breaks Silence: ‘She Said Her Father Liked The Music Video’

Inam-ul-Haq, the actor who starred alongside tennis player Radhika Yadav in a music video, has revealed that the 25-year-old told him her "father liked the song." According to Inam, Radhika's mother also accompanied her to the shoot, which took place in Noida and lasted about five hours.

Radhika Yadav was tragically killed, allegedly after being shot four times by her father, Deepak Yadav, at their home in Gurugram. After her death, the music video she featured in gained wide attention online, with some reports speculating that her father had disapproved of her appearance in it. However, there has been no official confirmation linking the music video to tensions within the family.

Amid the circulating rumours, Inam-ul-Haq has now suggested that Radhika had her father's permission to participate in the project. "She came to the shoot with her mother and even mentioned that her father liked the song. That indicates she had taken his permission," Inam said, as quoted by ANI. He also noted that Radhika's entire family was aware of the project.

When asked if Radhika ever discussed a career in music or film, Inam recalled, "When we met her for the first time, she said she wanted to work in this line. She was interested in the film industry... After that, we never met again."

Speaking about their working relationship, Inam clarified that he and Radhika were only professionally connected and did not speak much about personal matters. He also mentioned that Radhika did not heavily promote the video and had deactivated and reactivated her Instagram account two to three times following the release.

The music video was produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released in 2024 under the LLF Records label.

As speculation continues over the motive behind the alleged murder, police sources told Hindustan Times that so far there is "nothing concrete" to suggest Deepak Yadav acted out of anger over the music video or Radhika's social media activity.
