Pakistan posturing itself aggressively along LoC, reports Intelligence Bureau
New Delhi, Oct 7: The Pakistan army's aggressive posturing along the Line of Control has been reported to the government of India by Intelligence Bureau officials. The Pakistan army has been building up forces along the border areas. Further, deployment of a large number of soldiers has been reported from Muzzafarabad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Intelligence Bureau officials also say that there has been a considerable build up of forces in major cities such as Lahore. This is being done as a pre-emptive measure by Pakistan as they are worried that the Indian army would strike.

India, however, points out that it is ready for any eventuality. Moreover the Indian forces only resort to retaliatory fire if ceasefire violations by Pakistan are found.
The Indian army has already reported that there have been at least 5 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control. The Pakistan forces have been using mortars to target Indian positions.
While on one hand, the Indian army deals with the ceasefire violations, the other trouble is the militants who have already infiltrated into the Valley.
Counter insurgency operations by the Intelligence Bureau and the army have already begun. The forces are going all hog to flush out the militants.
There are many militants who have infiltrated taking advantage of the unrest in the Valley. Most of the militants are being preserved to launch fresh wave of attacks during the winter, the Intelligence Bureau also says.
