Not possible to bring back black money: BJP MP

Dubey, an MP from Jharkhand, said this while speaking on the finance bill in the Lok Sabha. He is a member of the Treasury benches. Explaining the reason for not bringing back the black money, Dubey said people have formed trusts and citizens of Switzerland hold those trusts. If one asked for money and names, it would mean asking for the trustees' names, something which is out of question.
The MP made his statement in the presence of Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who was in the Lower House at the time.
The Congress mocked the Narendra Modi government over Dubey's statement, saying it wished Dubey a long life so that he could see the BJP delivering on its promises. The Modi government formed a special investigation team (SIT) on black money under retired Supreme Court judge MB Shah.
Won't have to wait for long for black money: Jaitley
Jaitley said in the Parliament on Friday that the country would not have to wait for long to see the black money returning home. He added that the government had already furnished the Supreme Court with all information received on black money.
Last week, the finance minister said that the government had initiated procedures against citizens who stashed away the black wealth, with a SIT looking into the matter.
