Nitin Gadkari threatens to file defamation case against Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi, July 24: A day after Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has committed a criminal act by helping Lalit Modi [Sushma Swaraj has committed a criminal act, says Rahul Gandhi], BJP leader Nitin Gadkari said that Rahul must apologise.
Threatening to file a defamation case against Gandhi, Gadkari said that Rahul must apologise in person and take back his words.

"This is a very insensitive and insulting comment against a foreign minister. He should apologise in person," Gadkari said.
Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, July 23 said that Sushma Swaraj had committed a criminal act by helping a fugitive like Lalit Modi. Congress and other opposition parties on Thursday decided to maintain the 'no resignation, no discussion' stand in the Parliament.
The opposition parties have been demanding Swaraj's resignation over the Lalit Modi issue. Even on Friday, July 24 the Parliament was disrupted over Opposition's protest.
