New Delhi: 33 juveniles escape from remand home

The minors, belonging to the Sewa Kutir home, pelted stones, exploded cylinders, smashed windows and set the Superintendent's office on fire; only because their demands were not met.
A staff member narrated the entire incident saying that it all began on Saturday evening when a group of minors started demanding for drugs. "When the staff tried to pacify them and convince them, they retaliated and others joined them. After which they began to create a ruckus at home," said the staff member.
The minors, vandalised the home, set the main area on fire and escaped
The minors then beat up a security guard, smashed the window panes in the home and pelted stones. They then vandalised the kitchen and took out the supplies and the cylinder and set them and the main area on fire.
The juveniles then climbed up on the roof and escaped into the main area, where the Sperintendent office is located. They set the office area on fire, destroyed important documents and broke open the cash chest and ran away with Rs 35,000.
