Nawaz Sharif satisfied after meeting Narendra Modi

Putting all speculations aside, Sharif wrote to Modi about their meeting on May 27 and said: "I must say that I have returned much satisfied with our meaningful exchange of thoughts on bilateral and regional interest."
Sharif also said in his letter that he looked forward to working with Modi in harmony on all unsettled matters.
Earlier the Pakistan media had reported that Sharif was not too pleased with the meeting. The Pak media said that India had focussed too much on terrorism instead of other issues.
Modi had invited SAARC leaders to the swearing-in ceremony on May 26 in New Delhi and Sharif's visit to India was considered as a friendly gesture to the neighbouring country. Many hailed Modi's move to invite Sharif and said that this meeting could ease the tesnions between the two countries.
