Natwar Singh: PM given undue credit for reforms, nuclear deal

In an interview to Economic Times (read here), Singh said that PM was also given undue credit for the civil nuclear deal with the US. Singh said that he was also busy with an autobiography that is likely to make a lot of stark revelations.
Singh was removed as the foriegn minister in 2005 after his alleged involvement in oil for food scandal.
Singh in the interview also said former PM Indira Gandhi was wrong about the Emergency. "I have personal knowledge that Indiraji had given instructions that not a single shot should be fired at the Golden Temple. But those who were in the Operation could not follow it for many reasons," he said.
