Narendra Modi to attend fund-raising dinner? BJP trashes claims

Party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said the claims were baseless and said the BJP's programme is to organise 'tea with Modi' and not 'dinner with Modi with a price tag'.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has been holding fund-raising dinners
The price tag for attending the alleged dinner with Modi was between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2.4 crore, much higher than those fixed at Kejriwal's dinner parties, said the report. The prices varied according to the sitting arrangements, claimed the reports. A seat in the back row would cost Rs 1 lakh while Rs 2.5 lakh is the price of sitting in a front-row seat. Those willing to pay Rs 25 lakh could share a seat with Modi on a round table while for corporate sponsors, the tag was fixed between Rs 60 lakh and Rs 2.4 crore, said the report.
