Narendra Modi: Need to revive structure of govt in India

Highlights from his speech are as follows:
Speaking at the convention he said that we need a law that says that we can make a new law only when 10 laws have been successful. It is a web of laws for years. "There is a need to revive the structure of the government in India. Fashion of running the nation from Delhi must stop. Let us trust the states, each state has its own strength," he said.
"Our policies should encourage trade , commerce, manufacturing, agriculture and together this should script our growth. Condition of small traders and farmers must always be improved and safeguarded," Narendra Modi said.
Laying stress on online trading Modi said that 'we must encourage online trading. "Who goes to store to buy books anymore. Everyone goes online. We must boost online trading and not cut it," he said.
Hitting out at the external affairs ministry, Modi said that the ministry was running on old methodology.
