More setbacks for AAP as singer Jaspinder Narula quits party

While many well known faces are joining the party, there are an equal number of people who are quiting the AAP on moral basis, singer Jaspinder Narula being the latest to quit the party.
Narula on Monday quit the party saying that 'politics is different than what it looks like.'
Speaking to DailyBhaskar.com after a press conference Narula said: "After joining politics, I realised that it is completely different from what I perceived. Things were not working the way I wanted them to.
With the vision I had joined AAP, things were not going the same way."
She added that celebrities are not made for politics. "Getting a ticket and doing actual work are two different things," she said.
Narula had joined the AAP in February saying that she could relate with the party and its vision. Last week AAP's National Executive member Ashok Agarwal had quit the party saying that it functions like a private company.
