New Delhi, Jan 18: Spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar over Twitter is not the first fight that Sunanda Pushkar, the deceased wife of Union minister Shashi Tharoor, had with a media personality.

Three days before the Tharoor versus Tarar controversy broke out, Sunanda reportedly misbehaved with a journalist of the UAE-based Khaleej Times when the latter was taking an intrview of her husband, a report of the same publication said.

The incident happened when the Tharoors were in Dubai to attend a wedding party.

Pushkar reportedly barged into the interview which was happening at a private dinner party and wanted it to be stopped immediately. She was visibly angry at that moment and said she hates the media for this. Even the minister was stunned by his wife's outburst, said the report.

The Tharoor couple was bombarded with tweets inquiring about the incident, said the newspaper, and Sunanda in one of her responding tweets said: "some Journos!! Tell them to take an interview at a decent hour not at a family dinner means a Hissy fit? I had even slotted a time the next day despite Shashi not wanting to do it. this is the gratitude I get? (sic)"

The public relations firm which had organised the interview apologised later and admitted that Sunanda Pushkar had overreacted, the report said. The journalist was also appreciated for not responding to the insulting behaviour of Sunanda Pushkar.

In another tweet posted on January 14, Sunanda Pushkar said she did not abuse a journalist.
