New Delhi, Sept 13: Taking a jibe at the RSS and the

, Information and Broadcast Minister

on Friday said that the BJP's decision to name Narendra Modi as their Prime Ministerial candidate was a 'death of democracy in the BJP.'

He went on to say that BJP's decision to announce Modi as their prime ministerial candidate was also a 'hostile takeover.' He added that the RSS was trying to force their decisions down BJPs throat.

Tewari also tweeted that 'a shadowy cabal from Nagpur' forced the decision on the party.

Tewari's account on the other hand, is secured and no one can access his tweets unless he approves of it.

Tewari's comments comes amidst speculation that the BJP will announce Modi as their prime ministerial candidate.

His tweets do point out that the Congress too, is eagerly waiting for the announcement and is very much enjoying the rift within the Opposition. The rift is cause due to differences between certain political leaders in the party who do not want Modi as their prime ministeral candidate.
