Man arrested for attacking woman with beer bottle
The accused, identified as Atul, had allegedly attacked the victim in her house with a beer bottle for not accepting his marriage proposal, police said.
New Delhi, Dec 15: A 24-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stalking a woman for the last two months and for attacking her with a beer bottle in east Delhi's Gandhi Nagar area, police said today.

The accused, identified as Atul, had allegedly attacked the victim in her house with a beer bottle for not accepting his marriage proposal, police said. Atul used to harass her whenever she stepped out and she had told her brothers about him, they added.
Her brothers had threatened Atul and asked him to stay away from their sister. After a few days, he had attacked her with a beer bottle at her home, police said. A complaint was filed in October and he was arrested today, they added.
